Agricultural products, food, and fertilizers are typically excluded from major Western sanctions to help ensure global food security. These exemptions allow for transactions necessary to buy, sell, and transport agricultural commodities. However, even with these exemptions, transactions and business deals are sometimes delayed due to the risk appetite of partners in the value chain and their internal compliance measures. At this in-person ACSS Netherlands Chapter Event, speakers from the trade and financial sectors will explore the intricate compliance challenges surrounding licenses and other issues

Agenda

  • 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. – Arrivals and Welcome.

  • 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. – Presentations and Q&A.

  • 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. – Networking and Drinks.
